According to reports, 15-year-old Amy Dilworth and 12-year-old Kieran Sampson are both missing from their homes in Berkshire, and are thought to have boarded a train to London without informing their families.
Thames Valley police have issued a plea for anyone with information regarding the pair’s location to come forward.
Inspector Steve Warren of Newbury Police Station said: “I would like to appeal to anyone who has seen Amy or Kieran, or anyone matching their descriptions to speak to police. They are both young people who have been missing overnight and we are concerned for them.”
Addressing them directly, he added: “Amy and Kieran: if you see this appeal, please contact the police so that we can ensure you are safe.”
Amy is described as white and approximately 5ft 10 in tall, with short brown hair. Kieran, meanwhile, is described as white, 5ft in height, with blonde hair.
