The fifth Strictly Come Dancing contestant has been revealed and we are very impressed. Coronation Street actress Catherine Tyldesley is the latest celebrity to join the dance show.
The actress is best known for playing Eva Price on the ITV soap from 2011 to 2018.
Catherine joins comedian Chris Ramsey, footballer David James, actress Emma Barton and social media star Saffron Barker.
The actress gushed about her news, “I’m thrilled to be a part of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing. I’m a huge fan of the show. It’ll be my biggest challenge to date as I’m not much of a dancer, but I’ve always wanted to learn the skill and the time feels right!”
The 15 Days star added, “I’m nervous as hell but super excited to work with such talented professionals. Hold onto your jazz shoes... mine is sure to be a bumpy/clumsy/fun ride!”
This year’s lineup is already one of the show’s best and we only know five names.
