The school run takes place each and every morning and usually consists of the same routine over and over.
But Jonathan Saccone Joly got quite the shock one day when he went about his usual routine of dropping his daughter Emilia to school.
Embarking on their normal school run adventure, Jonathan never considered that maybe one morning things may not go the same way.
And then it happened – everything changed.
In a video posted to his YouTube channel, the dad-of-three explains his feelings when his routine of waving goodbye to his little girl through the school windows ended.
And we think every single parent can relate.
“The whole time she’s been in school I’ve been doing that [waving], but today I went to the first window and she wasn’t there.”
“I went to the second window, she wasn’t there, I went to the third window... and I could see her.
She was with her little gang, they were all having the gossips and the chats, and I was just standing there like, is anyone going to wave at me!”
It was at that exact moment Jonathan realised his little girl Emilia was officially ‘too cool’ to wave at her dad anymore.
