A dad has become an unwitting internet sensation this week after the hilarious ad he posted to sell the buggy that ruined his life went viral.

Joel Andresier, from Southampton, Hampshire, took to an online auction site to appeal to the parenting community to take the buggy off his hands, but proceeded to give a comical insight into his life as a dad.

He doesn’t offer much hope for potential customers when he opens his ad saying that he will “be glad to see it leave my premises and never return”.

In a rather dramatic twist, the father-of-three adds: “"This was purchased against my wishes many years ago as I never wanted any children and a buggy signified my wife's intent to have children. We argued much and this buggy signifies everything that ended my happy carefree low cost child-free life.”

The 39-year-old’s advert reaches new levels of comedy as he reveals: “During its lifetime its had pretty much every bodily fluid known to science, (and several that have yet to be discovered) chucked over it by my children.”

The buggy, which carried an asking price of £9.99 and can be bought new for £399, has received some astonishing bids since Joel’s ad went viral, with some in excess of £150,000.

While some concerned parents may be worried by the tone of Joel’s advert, his wife Susan said that his sentiments should be taken with a grain of salt.

“It was really only meant as a joke,” she explained. “What else are you going to say about a knackered old buggy?”

Between this guy's comedy gold, to must-see DIY and father-son spoof videos, these parents are certainly keeping us entertained.
