We parents are such big softies when it comes to our children, and the last thing we want is to have them feel left out of anything – especially Halloween.

So one dad is eliciting some serious ‘awws’ from us here, after his plan to ensure his daughter didn’t miss out on trick or treating, even though she was on a plane.

The dad gave out candy to each of the passengers, along with a note asking them to give it to his daughter when she came around trick-or-treating, dressed as a doughnut.

“My 3-year-old daughter, Molly, was bummed that she wouldn’t be able to go trick-or-treating this year due to this flight, so I decided to bring trick-or-treating to her,” he wrote on the note.

“If you are willing, when my little donut comes down the aisle, please drop this in her basket. You’ll be making her Halloween!”

The dad’s adorable actions were shared on Twitter by fellow passenger Stephanie Kahan, and her tweet quickly went viral.

“OMG, my heart is exploding right now,” she captioned the tweet. “Dad of the year just passed out candy to everyone on the flight so his 3 year old could trick or treat.”

According to Stephanie, the other passengers were “thrilled” to be part of the dad’s super cute scheme.  “When she got back to her seat, the dad asked if she had fun, and she said she was ready to eat the candy,” she told the Huffington Post.
