Shopping for clothes for your kids is not exactly the easiest thing to do.

They tend to dislike any item you think would be nice (and practical) on them and oftentimes it can be hard to find something that's even suitable and not solely made for a mini adults (we're talking the teeny tiny skinny jeans that look like they'd cut the circulation from your child's feet...).

And other times your not-so-girlie girl can feel dismayed by the sheer volume of princess, Disney and pink stuff that is only on offer - especially when the boys' section tends to have cool things like robots and cars on their T-shirts.

So when we saw what this mum did while out shopping we couldn't help but applaud her, but the internet doesn't agree with us exactly.

Taking to Twitter, Katie Hinde shared a picture of NASA tops that she had moved from the boys' section to the girls' because girls want to go to space too, you know.

"Did I just take a bunch of NASA tank tops from the boys' section and put them in the girls' section? Yes. Yes I did," she wrote.

However, some people were not impressed that she had moved the items of clothing, instead saying that she was just making more work for staff there.

But some did agree with us - and thanked Katie for doing it:
