Five-year-old Paislee Talbot was walking to the store with a friend when she was spotted by Marc Breckenridge.

Marc was travelling home from the casino with his fiancée, when he stopped the car because of a chocolate Labrador dog.

What he wasn’t anticipating, was what he witnessed next.

Beside the dog, Marc came across two girls, walking down a Washington highway at 11pm.

The girls were carrying a baseball bat torch, back packs and money from Paislee’s piggy bank.

While on a sleepover, the two young girls had got an idea in their heads, that it would be fun to walk to the shops when the grown-ups were asleep.

Marc pulled up beside the girls when he spotted them alone, and asked where they were going.

When the girls told him they were going to the store, he enquired about their parents.

Paislee informed him: “They’re asleep.”

Marc took both girls by the hand, and walked them back home, with his fiancée driving the car behind them the whole way.

Paislee’s mother Tiffany was in total shock at the incident but is forever grateful to Marc for his actions, she told InsideEdition:

“He didn’t ask them to get into the car. He walked with them. He didn’t have to do that. He did the right thing.”

If more people could be as kind as Marc, what a wonderful world it would be.
