This has just blown us away.
Dare to Bare Bride uploaded an emotional video of flower girl, Megan, giving the groom a very special gift on his wedding day.
The young girl reaches out to the groom, Jamie, during the speeches at his wedding reception, and we cannot cope.
When he opens the gift, there’s a poem attached, which he begins to read to the guests.
The groom begins: “I may not have your eyes, your ears, mouth and nose, but none of that is relevant.”
“You’re my dad and I am yours.”
Megan, we realise, is in fact the groom’s step-daughter.
Jamie continues: “You've been my dad for quite some time, the only one I've had. But I couldn't wish for a better one, although you drive me mad.”
We’re already in tears and we’re not the only ones.
The groom is visibly overwhelmed and reaches out to Megan, holding her hand, before finishing the poem.
“Today you married my beautiful mum, and now it's time to say, I love you more than anything, in every single way.
"All the things you've done for me, and all the times you've been there, help me know deep down inside, how much you really care."
"We have a loving family, a beautiful little home, but now it's time to seal the deal, and lawfully make me your own.”
Then the ultimate surprise is revealed.
Wrapped under the poem are papers for the application of adoption.
We are literally bawling right now.
