From renditions of Let It Go to the shortage of Frozen-themed toys, Disney have a lot to answer to parents for.

One person who knows the frustration that parents of die-hard Frozen fans must be feeling is the movie’s director, Jennifer Lee, and she has gone so far as to apologise for the phenomenon!

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Lee said: “A year ago, I’d meet people who, when they found out who I was, they’d say, ‘Oh, we love the songs! We sing them all the time!’ Now they’re like, ‘Yep, we’re still listening to those songs’. I’ve gone from, ‘Thank you’, to, ‘Sorry!’”

If recent reports are anything to go by, we can expect plenty more Frozen-mania in the coming months.

The voice behind Let It Go, Idina Menzel, revealed that a movie sequel and a Broadway version of the film are already underway.

“They’re all in the works,” said the star, adding that she will more than likely be resuming her role in the motion picture version.

It looks like Jennifer will have plenty more apologising ahead of her, then!
