We all know how boring a long flight can be for our kids, and after the first hour or so they start to get pretty restless!
Well, fear not mums... we have a few fun and simple ways to keep your little ones entertained on a plane.
1. Go camping
Cook up a mock campsite for a favourite doll or toy with anything on hand or whatever you can score from the airhostess (napkin tent, coffee stirrer firepit etc.)
2. Story time
Retell a classic fairy-tale story with finger puppets (or sock puppets!)
3. Get crafty
Make necklaces and bracelets with paper clips, and even add beads for more silly pizzazz.
4. Get glam
Play dress-up on the plane with a small bag of old necklaces, bracelets, scarves and sunnies.
5. Colourful fun
Surprise your child on the plane with colouring books of their favourite characters. Just print them directly from glorious Google.
6. Movie time
Pop a favourite (or even better, new) DVD into your portable DVD player.
7. Play cards
Play card games like Uno or make your own trading cards (Pokemon who?)
8. I spy with my little eye
Spy on row 32 with a magnifying glass, binoculars and a notebook
