What an incredible story. A 10-year-old girl from West Virginia managed to save her dad’s life using the power of Facebook recently.
Brianna Vance’s dad and two friends were sitting on a porch in the front of their home when a tree fell down onto them after a lightening strike. As the weather had knocked out any mobile phone reception, the little girl used the next best thing – the internet.
Brianna posted a plea online where she wrote: “The lightening crashed and hit a tree by our porch and my dad’s almost dead. He needs an ambulance please. Please call one for us if you have signal. We live in a yellow house.
Thankfully, Brianna's quick thinking saved her dad’s life who was having trouble breathing and was suffering from head and back injuries.
The 10-year-old’s efforts were praised by the local fire station where Lt. Tim Granger said: This is the real hero, that little girl. I hope she gets recognized for her heroism.”
