Heartbreaking ad highlights everyday sacrifices parents make for their children

We were recently moved by a video that highlighted why parents should never judge one another, and this week, an advert is drawing attention to another important issue: the sacrifices parents make to ensure that their children are happy and well looked-after.

 

An advert released by MetLife Hong Kong, narrated by a little girl, documents the struggle her doting dad goes through to make sure she wants for nothing.

 

Everything seems perfect in this man’s life, as the little girl hails him as her “superman”, sharing examples of the happiness they share together on a daily basis.

 

However, as the video goes on, she starts to reveal the secret truth behind what first appears to be a picture-perfect life.
