Yes, two absolutely adorable mascots - clad in golden yellow jerseys - met the sporting superstar shortly before Sunday's final game of the championship.
With Ronaldo's Portuguese side eventually conquering France during extra time, the pair of youngsters must have been in the aftermath particularly proud of their encounter.
Lining up alongside the multi-millionaire athlete before the starting whistle, the duo were able to hold their heads high as the national anthems blared out.
And upon finding Ronaldo less than a metre away from where they were standing, the little boy and girl couldn't help but stare at their idol. When he in turn grinned broadly in their direction, they broke into delighted laughter.

The incident, which was perfectly captured within a sequence of now widely-shared photographs and video, is just about the most heart-warming of the tournament.
