Fans of hit TV show Killing Eve will be thrilled to hear that the BBC have finally confirmed the show’s return date.
Viewers have been patiently waiting for season two of the popular show to air in the United Kingdom and luckily, we don’t have long to go.
Confirming the news on Twitter, the BBC revealed that the official release date is Saturday, June 8. The first episode of season two will air at 9.15 pm.
The news sent fans into a frenzy on Twitter. One shared: “Hopefully I will have given birth by this time so I can watch it in my hospital bed.”
Another added: “I can’t wait to watch this. I loved the first series.”
One fan teased: “I’ve already watched all of season two. It is unbelievable.”
Grey’s Anatomy alum Sandra Oh stars alongside BAFTA winner Jodie Comer in the award-winning series.
Fiona Shaw, Darren Boyd, Owen McDonnell and Kirby Howell-Baptiste also star in the show.
Killing Eve has already been renewed for a third season.

Killing Eve follows MI5 agent Eve who is on a mission to kill deadly assassin Villanelle. The British spy thriller is based on the novella series Codename Villanelle.
The final episode of season two left fans wondering whether Villanelle was alive or not after escaping the apartment.
Fans will have to tune into the new season on BBC One on June 8 at 9.15 pm to find out.
