An incredibly brave 10-year old girl sacrificed her life when she was killed heroically pushing two toddlers out of harm’s way.
Kiera Larsen from California in the US, pushed one-year old Adison and two-year old Emma out of the way when a runaway SUV rolled towards them when they were playing outside.
And while Adison and Emma were safe and sound with only a few scratches, hero Kiera was struck by the vehicle and pushed through a fence. She was rushed to hospital, where tragically she died.
“She is truly a hero. She will forever be my kids’ guardian angel,” Adison and Emma’s mother Alissa Jenkins told KGTV. “She saved both my daughters’ lives. Both of them could’ve been gone in an instant and she stepped in and took over and did what she knows best to do – and that’s to protect those around her.”
What an incredible young girl and a true hero. Our thoughts are with her family during this painful time.
