Amanda Holden has been announced as Holly Willoughby’s replacement during her maternity leave.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge will take on This Morning’s couch with co-host, Phillip Schofield, when Holly goes on maternity leave when her third baby is born. Holly’s baby is due in October.
Amanda spoke of her delight at the announcement, saying: “I have always been a huge fan of This Morning and love presenting with Phillip so I really can’t wait to get started.”
Emma Gormley, ITV Daytime managing director was equally as happy to see Amanda join the talk show: “Amanda is a great talent with warmth and charisma in abundance. We are thrilled to have her join the This Morning family.”
