A homeless mother-of-three who managed to turn her life around after she was helped by strangers is now giving back.

A couple of months ago, 23-year-old Jenedith Fontanez was struggling to find the money for a deposit on an home for herself and her children. However, by a chance meeting with Cherish and Andrew Doutrich, the young mum has managed to turn her life around.

Cherish, who offered Jenedith a lift one day, gave her $500, enough to put a deposit down on a one bedroomed apartment. As more and more people began to hear about the news, she was inundated with offers of furniture and household items.

Jenedith took to her Facebook page to thank everyone for their kind donations saying: "Thank you all who have called to donate stuff. Thank you all for the support it means everything and more! I will look to only pay this forward in every way I can!"

Finding she was given more stuff than she needed, Jenedith has decided to help those who were in the same situation as her. Not only is she donating items, the mum has also started a program to help single parents which includes offering a childminding service while the parent goes to interviews.

Talking to Lancaster Online, Jeneditch said: "There are a lot of people out there that just need someone to take that first chance on them.  I’ll be fine. Now it’s time to help other people out there."
