Something tells us this little boy would make a good doctor, such is his calm approach to a crisis.

Little Camden Vaughan from Dallas, Texas, was shocked when his mother Misty began having a seizure whilst at home.

Fortunately, the four-year-old came to his mum's rescue - and it's all down to his quick thinking and ability to unlock her phone!

As soon as he'd unlocked the device, Camden got through to his doctor dad Jeremy.

"He said 'Daddy, you need to come home. Mommy can't wake up;," Jeremy told ABC News.

Straight away, Jeremy left his hospital workplace and rushed home, where he found his wife collapsed.

Camden was able to unlock the phone because he has used it often to play on games and had the pass-code memorised.

He went to the 'favourites' tab on the phone, found his dad's photo next to his number, and made the call.

Misty is now recovering and couldn't be more grateful to her tech-savvy, quick-thinking little man.

"I just keep staring at them amazed at how different things could have really been for me," she said.

"It's reminded me to enjoy the day-to-day tasks of motherhood again and not get bogged down with all the details in my life that in the end won't really matter anyway."
