All mums are awe-inspiring in our eyes, but there are some that really go above and beyond for their little ones.
Whitney Kittrell is a single parent to two gorgeous little children, and is doing an amazing job.
However, recently her young son came home from kindergarten with an invitation to a "dads and doughnuts day," and her heart sank.
"When I became a single mom over 3 years ago I made a promise with myself that I would do anything I could, even if it meant going out of my comfort zone, to give my kids a "normal" life" she said in an amazing Facebook post.
Whitney asked her son if he wanted to take his grandpa to the dads day, but her son’s answer surprised her.
“He just smiled and said ‘no. I want you to go. You’re my mom and dad.”’
We're CRYING.
So, with that in mind, Whitney painted on facial hair for her son, picked out her best "dad outfit" and went to the breakfast event with her son, as his mum and his dad.
Whitney shared her story online, and it has been shared almost 90,000 times in just 4 days.
Basically, not all heroes wear capes - some heroes wear fake beards.
