Katie Piper has shown off her beautiful baby daughter for the first time and said, “she is my world”.
The TV presenter, who gave birth to 7lb, 1oz baby Belle Elizabeth by Caesarean on March 14th, said motherhood has given her “true fulfilment”.
Piper has undergone more than 100 operations to rebuild her face after she was badly disfigured in an acid attack in 2008, and said returning to hospital to give birth had added meaning.
Katie said, "To have had my own life saved in hospital and then to be there giving life to this precious little person, I thought, 'This is why, this is what it's all about'."
Katie went on, “People used to say to me, 'It's a love like no other,' and I understand that now. She's so precious and I just feel so incredibly blessed to have her. She's our world.”
