Katie Price is on the defensive after she revealed that she named her seven-week-old daughter Bunny.

Replying to the public ridicule of the name, Katie has said, “I really don't care.”

“Some may ridicule our choice and some will love it - I really don't care to be honest... Bunny is an old-fashioned name and I love it.”

Katie went on to say that the name was a perfect fit for her youngestest child.

“Soft, cute, cuddly, unique but most of all fun. Some might say these words describe me but my new baby girl is all of these and reminds me of a Bunny!”

Katie’s justification comes after ex-husband Peter André revealed that their daughter Princess Tiaamii refuses to be called by her given name any more.

“Princess is telling me she doesn't want me to call her Princess and she doesn't like the colour pink anymore, all of a sudden she wants everything blue,” the singer said in an interview.

Katie insists however that she doesn’t impose these unusual names on the kids herself.

“Kieran and I chose Bunny and Jett's names together, just like Pete and I chose Junior and Princess's names together, while Harvey is named after my grandad.”
