As many of you know major flooding across Texas following Hurricane Harvey has left thousands without homes.
Many families have had to spend their days in relief shelters which have been set up across the state.
A time like this can be described as nothing short of emotional, especially when you uproot children.
We can sometimes forget that our children have soft interiors as they champion each milestone they face.
Nonetheless, losing their home and having to live in a shelter is a life altering experience for young children who can easily sense fear.
Kids find comfort in their parents, friends, and close relatives - but when they're caught up in the panic of a flood, it can be a scary process.
But while families who sought shelter in a Houston emergency department were busy trying to come to terms with the hand they've been dealt, there was a superhero looking out for the children.

Spiderman used his spidey-senses to seek out the children, bringing nothing but sheer joy and smiles to their faces, because in times of tragedy, kids need a hero.
With over 9K people taking shelter at the same location, Spiderman spent a long day cheering up young and old alike, handing out stickers to kids and reminding them of how resilient they really are.

This man needs to be credited for this amazing act of humanity in a time of uncertainty. Amazing what a small gesture can do for people's spirits.
