At first glance, these Disney princesses look perfectly innocent – so you may get a bit of a shock when you roll the video below.

These girls are starring in a new campaign to draw attention to gender equality, drawing attention to issues such as pay inequality and violence.

Produced by FCKH8.com, ‘F-Bombs for Feminism’ is a two-and-a-half-minute video which features “potty-mouthed princesses” who “use bad words for a good cause”, and will really get you thinking.

In an expletive-filled argument raised by one of the girls, she asks: “What is more offensive? A little girl saying ‘f*ck’ or the f*cking unequal and sexist way society treats girls and women?”

The girls, who are as young as six, are joined by a group of women wearing T-shirts with slogans such as “Girls just want to have FUN-damental rights”. The website is selling these T-shirts for $15, with a third of the profits benefiting five anti-sexism organisations.

Mike Kon, who produced the video, said: “Some adults may be uncomfortable with how these little girls are using a bad word for a good cause. It is shocking what they are saying, but the real shock is that women are still paid less than men for the same work in 2014, not the use of the F-word.”

What are your thoughts on the video?
