With the birth of their baby girl, Wyatt Isabelle, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are settling into their new role as parents.

According to a friend of the couple, they couldn’t be happier with their new family.

“Ashton has wanted to be a parent for so long. He is ready to do anything necessary to take care of the baby. He is ecstatic,” they told People magazine.

“Mila was born to be a mom,” they added. “She is a kid herself and will be the best mom ever. She will never be a glamour-puss. Their lives will change, but not nearly as drastically as other couples, because they were so ready to be parents and knew what responsibilities they had in store.”

While the new parents enjoyed their first weekend with their daughter, friends and family poured in to see the baby and bring gifts.

“They had guests over all weekend that visited the baby. They have been getting lots of flower deliveries and gift baskets. You can tell that they are loved by many people. Mila has been taking the baby for short walks around the neighbourhood. She looks great and very happy.”

The Hollywood couple may be planning to take a step back in their careers in order to devote themselves to parenting. “I believe Mila and Ashton will put the baby first,” the source stated.

"I can't see anything coming between her and the baby. If that means changing her course for awhile, she likely will.”

“But for now, nobody can really predict. They'll have to see how things go.”
