Superstar Susan Sarandon has become a grandmother for the first time at age 67. Her daughter, actress Eva Amurri gave birth to a baby girl, named Marlowe Mae Martino.
Eve made the announcement on twitter, saying:
“What a weekend! @kylemartino are thrilled to announce the arrival of our sweet baby girl! Mama and Daddy love you a zillion, Marlowe Mae”
Marlowe’s father Kyle Martino also celebrated the good news with his Twitter followers.
“Can't believe I'm a dad!!! @4EvaMartino and I are over the moon in love with our little girl Marlowe. #Love”
Susan Sarandon hasn’t commented on the news yet, but she has been making big plans for her new grandmother status.
"I borrowed this name from a very dear friend of mine who's from the South," Susan said."His grandma was 'Honey.' That's what I'm experimenting with and Eva likes it, so we'll see."
