A proud mum has taken to Love What Matters to share an insight into her husband’s adorable ‘date night’ ritual with their little girl.
Caitlin Fladager revealed that her other half takes their little girl on a ‘date’ once a month, ‘where she gets all dressed up and gets taken out for cake and ice cream’.
Sharing the sweetest photos from the daddy-daughter tradition, Caitlin wrote: “Tonight was their first night doing it. He helped her pick out a dress for her to wear, got a little purse ready for her, held the door open for her, and made her feel like a princess.”
Needless to say, the little one ‘loved’ the experience – and, according to Caitlin, it’s setting a great example for her future.
“She will always know how she deserves to be treated, because her dad sets such a high example,” she added.
Clearly, we’re not the only ones melting over the post, with Love What Matters readers taking to the comment section to gush.
“Way to go, Dad! My dad used to take my sister and I to lunch a few times a year when we were adults…it was very special,” wrote one follower.
Another added: “This is such a nice thing for a parent to do with their kids.”
