Police have said that they are growing ‘increasingly concerned’ for the safety of a 12-year-old girl who went missing yesterday, Wednesday.

Chloe Harrison, from the Isle of Wight, failed to return home last night after meeting up with a friend, and she has not made contact with her family since.

According to a police statement, Chloe was last seen at around 9.30pm last night, at Newport Bus Station, where a friend left her.

Chloe is described as being white, 5ft 2in in height, with brown eyes and straight brown shoulder-length hair. When last seen she was wearing a pink hooded top.

Authorities in the Isle of Wight have said that the disappearance and lack of contact with family is completely out of character for Chloe, and they have launched an investigation to locate her whereabouts.

Anyone with information that may help with the investigation is asked to get in touch with Inspector Andy Gill on 101, quoting the case number 4416052486. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, or touch base with any police station.

We are thinking of Chloe’s family at this worrying time, and we are praying for her safe return home.
