As we approach school holidays, Police have issued a warning after children have been seen playing on the M60.
Motorists were shocked when they saw children running across the carriageway last week and rang 999 immediately.
After arriving on the scene, Police said this was the second incident like this in a two day period.
For the 2nd day we have reports of children playing on the M60 Jcn 20 to 21 - running to the central reservation and back!

Children were spotted running to the central reservation on the busy motorway and were said to look as if they were playing a game.
GMP Traffic have now warned that “parents should keep an eye on their kids.”

This all comes after teenagers were spotted dangling friends from a motorway bridge last week.
Emergency services were alerted to the situation on a busy stretch of the M6 but the teens were gone when they had arrived on the scene.
