Police in England have issued an appeal to the public for help in tracing the whereabouts of a missing mum and her nine-month-old son.

Reading woman Chloe Keates, 20, was last seen at around 1.30pm on Wednesday, February 10, in Amethyst Lane in Southcote. It is believed that her infant son was with her at the time, and she was seen carrying a black suitcase.

The young mum is described as white, of medium build, and 5ft 4in in height. She has shoulder-length blonde hair, and when last seen she was wearing a green top, jeans and a black ‘puffa’ jacket. Her son was dressed in a babygro.

In a statement released this week, police in Reading said that they have grown ‘concerned’ for the welfare of the mother and child.

Appealing to members of the public for their help, they said: “If you have any information about Chloe’s whereabouts, please contact the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.”

We sincerely hope that Ms Keates and her son are found safe and sound, and soon. We will keep you updated on the story.
