It has no doubt been a very difficult time for the family of Sian Blake, a mother who has been missing from her London home for almost three weeks.

Now, the Metropolitan police have appealed to the public for help in tracing the whereabouts of the 43-year-old mother, who has been missing since December 13.

Ms Blake is reported to have disappeared along with her two young sons: eight-year-old Zachary, and four-year-old Amon.

The mother and her sons, who are based in Erith in Kent, were last seen on December 13 in the Waltham Forest area of East London. While they have been unable to track Ms Blake and her sons down, the police believe that they are still in the same area.

Ms Blake is described as a black woman of slim build, measuring approximately 5ft 2ins in height; she has short black hair, and wears glasses as well as contact lenses.

Appealing to the public for help in locating Ms Blake and her little ones, a police representative said: "We are increasingly concerned about her and her children's wellbeing. We have exhausted all other lines of inquiry."

If you think that you could be of assistance in the search, you can get in contact with the authorities on 101. Alternatively, you can contact Missing People on 116000, quoting reference 15MIS050346.

Our thoughts are with Ms Blake's family, and we hope that she and her sons will be found safe and sound.
