She previously opened up on her concerns about her pregnancy this time around, having tragically suffered three miscarriages in the past, and now actress Adele Silva has made the most heartbreaking admission yet.

The star, who is expecting her first child with fiancé Oliver Farber, admitted that the last eight months have not been enjoyable for her due to the constant worry over what might go wrong with her pregnancy.

Speaking candidly in an interview with Closer magazine, the 34-year-old said: “It’s not a case of being miserable, it’s about self-protection – and because of that I feel I’ve been robbed of the pregnancy experience.”

She added that it was only after going to a private clinic that she discovered why she was miscarrying.

Revealing that she had a form of thrombophilia, causing her blood to clot incorrectly, Adele added: “I also had elevated killer cells, which they can’t even test for in this country – they test in America – which is where your embryo is implanted and your immune system fights it because they think it’s a foreign body.”

She admitted that while she was “ecstatic” to discover that she was pregnant again, each stage has brought worry and fear for her.

“Each stage has kind of been bittersweet because although you’re like, ‘Brilliant, I’ve got to this point’, or ‘Brilliant, I’ve got to that point’, you’re still not completely out of the danger zone,” she said.

We can’t imagine what brave Adele has been through, and we wish her all the best with the rest of her pregnancy.
