That is exactly what the mum-to-be will be doing this coming weekend, much to the disappointment of her fans.
The 31-year-old, who is expecting her first child with husband Mike Fisher, is up for two Grammy awards, but has admitted that she is in too much of a delicate state right now to make it to the ceremony.
The singer told E! News: “I wish I could go to the Grammys, but travel’s kind of out for me at this point. It’s tempting, but I can’t fly that far away this late in my pregnancy. I’ll be in my pyjamas watching it from the comfort of my couch.”
Carrie jokingly added: “You know, I should just get all dressed up anyways. I should get my hair and makeup done, and get a dress and watch it from my couch all dressed up like I’m there!”
Carrie and Mike announced their amazing news back in November, going to on to confirm that they are expecting a boy.
Even if she can’t make it to the ceremony, we’ll be rooting for her!
