Radio and TV presenter Chris Evans took to Twitter today to announce that he has become a granddad for the first time, after his daughter Jade gave birth to a son today.
Jade, 27, who is Chris’ daughter from his relationship with Alison Ward, gave birth to son Teddy Rupert in the early hours of this morning.
“Teddy Rupert is here!!! Everyone doing brilliantly. Congrats to Ma & Pa, Alison and Wardy, Sandra and Gavin,” tweeted Chris.
The 48-year-old also shared the first picture of the beautiful Teddy, with the tiny tot cuddled up in a blanket and hat for the camera.
Chris later followed up the announcement with a post poking fun at this new ‘granddad status’, tweeting: “Just been for celebratory run around The Regent’s Park. I was passed by every single other runner but that’s ok because I’m a GRANDAD. Hobble.”
