While he may not have been too aware of what was happening last year, Prince George is reportedly in the thick of the Christmas celebrations this year.

Just weeks after appearing in his festive Christmas photo shoot, the little tot was taken to visit Santa Claus for the very first time.

According to People, the 17-month-old paid a visit to the man in the big red suit on Saturday, attending Santa’s Magical Journey display in Norfolk, near his family home.

Witnesses say that the little prince thoroughly enjoyed his visit with Prince William and Kate Middleton, and received a wooden toy train in his package from Santa.

General Manager at the venue, Geraldine Rye told People: “There was no special treatment for them. They walked through like everyone else. People were just happy to see them, like all other families enjoying the experience.”

“Like all the children, George was excited by what he saw and excited to meet Santa,” she added.

William and Kate are said to be spending Christmas in their Norfolk home, with the Duchess hosting on the big day for the first time.
