According to figures released by Kensington Palace today, the little prince picked up more gifts than any other member of the royal family last year – even The Queen!
While we may complain about our little ones being spoiled, style icon Prince George boasted an impressive 706-piece horde from fans and well-wishers in 2014.
Among the gifts the one-year-old received were DVDs, coins and ornaments, sheepskin boots and, unusually, a possum skin cloak!
Other unusual gifts – given that he is not even two yet – included a surfing shirt and swimming cap!
Of course, George wasn’t the only one to encounter the generosity of the public, with the Duchess of Cambridge also receiving her fair share of impressive gifts.
As well as receiving a pair of pearl earrings from the Mayor of Christchurch during the royal tour of New Zealand and Australia last year, Kate also received a selection of brooches and necklaces from members of government and the public.
It certainly sounds as though fashion icon George is spoilt for choice!
