Reality TV star and Olympic gold medallist Bruce Jenner has faced intense scrutiny and ridicule in recent months regarding his changing appearance, but now that the 65-year-old father has revealed he intends to begin transitioning from man to woman, his mum Esther says she couldn't be more proud of her son.
Opening up about the issue, Esther said: "I have never been more proud of Bruce for who he is, himself as a father, as an Olympian. wonderful public speaker. He instils enthusiasm in people. He's gifted."
Esther wholeheartedly respects her son's decision, admitting: "I am more proud of him now than when he stood on that podium and put the gold medal around his neck. He deserves all he respect."
Bruce has decided to chronicle his transition in a TV docuseries.
