10-year old Aron Anderson lives on the tiny Scottish island of Out Skerries, and is the only child in his school.
With a population of just 70 people, he has been dubbed 'Britain's loneliest schoolboy' by the Telegraph.
But it's not all bad. Aron, who wants to be a fisherman like his father when he grows up, said that he likes where he lives.
“It is quite weird sometimes – not having anyone else at school. But I like this island. I can ride around and explore on my bike; in summer I can swim in the sea and jump off the pier.”
Hearing about his story, a Reddit user has started a campaign to send Aron Christmas cards from all around the world to show him that he’s not alone.
“I really want him to get a big massive smile on his face, so please write a wee message in the card to show your support too!” said the user, who has got in touch with Aron’s school.
