Having a bad day? Feeling a tad tired after being up all night with Baby? We have something that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

The internet is melting this morning, all over a video of a delighted boy scanning groceries at the checkout!

Simple and kind gestures can make a big difference in the lives of our children, and this is something that Jeanie Robinson – whose son has cerebral palsy – can appreciate.

Jeanie and her son were recently doing the grocery shopping, when their favourite cashier decided to do something special: she asked the boy to put through his family’s items.

He was only too delighted to help out, and the simple pleasure of hearing the ‘beep’ when the cereal went through left him smiling from ear-to-ear.

“Thank you to Winco in Temecula, California for such a wonderful and exceptional morning and shopping experience. Cerebral Palsy doesn’t stop this boy!” gushed a proud Jeanie.

As you can imagine, the footage has really touched hearts and brought smiles to faces all around the world.

“Whenever I watch these sorts of videos, I am always reminded that we don’t have to have top jobs or celebrity-status to make a difference in the world and in people’s lives,” wrote one follower.

Another added: “The joy he finds in the little things is enough to put a smile on anybody’s face.”
