She is known for her adventurous and rather risqué fashion sense, so we were not surprised to see singer Rita Ora’s daring choice of outfit for her appearance on BBC’s The One Show last night.

However, a number of viewers were not prepared for the sight of the star in a white blazer with a plunging neckline, leaving very little to the imagination.

Indeed, it has been revealed today that the station was overwhelmed by the backlash from concerned parents, who felt the singer’s dress was inappropriate for a family show.

With a reported 400 complaints lodged, it is clear that Ora’s risqué look to promote the new series of The Voice did not go down well with the audience at home.

Taking to the BBC’s Points of View message board to express their shock over the star’s attire, one user wrote: “Isn’t it about time the BBC had a dress code? I do not want to see her boobs hanging out on a family programme. I find it quite disgraceful.”

However, a number of Twitter users begged to differ, with many of them expressing their disbelief over the complaints.

“People are complaining about Rita Ora’s outfit? They’re just boobs, it’s nothing we haven’t seen before. Chances are you were breastfed,” tweeted one user.

What are your thoughts on the issue? Was Rita’s outfit too much for TV, or are people overreacting?
