Six brothers in the state of New York have been hailed heroes for a wonderful act.
Phoebe Kannisto is a mother of seven - six boys and one girl.
The mum and her boys, Andre (10), twins Silas and Emerson (8), and triplets Herbie, Reed and Dexter (5), have been growing their hair for five whole years.
Unfortunately their little sister Marah, being only two, didn’t have enough hair to join in on the act.
But the boys persisted.
And this year decided it was time to put their long hair to good use.
Phoebe states: “I am so proud of my boys. They have been picked on and teased by everyone from their peers, to grown adults. ..”
“But they didn't let that stop them. They had a goal and stuck to it. They are such amazing role models to their little sister.”
Adding: “She watched in awe.”
And the most amazing part is that between mum and her six boys, SEVENTEEN feet of hair was donated to Children With Hair Loss.
The organisation provides hair replacements for kids with medically related hair loss problems, and seventeen feet of hair will make for some pretty excited kids.
This is one proud mamma and we don't blame her.
