She’s known for lighting up the dance floor on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, but Ola Jordan has revealed that there is another role she is excited about: becoming a mum.

The professional dancer, who is married to former co-star James, has revealed that she hopes to start a family after Strictly.

Speaking to OK! magazine, the 32-year-old said: “Babies will come one day, not now I’m in the middle of the show. Let’s hope God lets me have children one day because that will be amazing.”

Remaining tight-lipped as to when that might be, the star added: “I would like a baby, but I don’t know if I’d like one next year, so we’ll see how it goes.”

It seems that babies may just be the last thing on Ola’s mind today however, with reports claiming that her partner on this year’s show, Steve Backshall, has lodged a bullying complaint against her to the BBC.

Apparently the dancing couple have since been assigned a chaperone to watch out for Ola’s alleged ‘rude and impatient’ behaviour.
