Now that your child is at school, his day is more structured which means his playtime is too. It’s also a common concern whether your child should be taking structured classes after school such as dance or music or gymnastics. However, unstructured play is important too as it allows them develop their imagination and its fun too!

Structured play activities that you can play at home include:
  • Playing board games which helps build maths skills and team playing
  • Reading together which helps build reading skills and vocabulary
  • Complete a jigsaw puzzle which helps develop problem solving skills
When it comes to play time for your child, try to let them have fun rather than worry too much whether they are learning or not.
