So when we heard of HoMedics TANDA Luxe, which uses red light therapy to tackle signs of ageing, we said we would try it out. The product is a skin rejuvenation photofacial device that works inside out to fight dullness, dry skin, and uneven texture.
The first thing we liked about this product is that it requires very little effort. Unlike most skin treatments, you only have to use TANDA Luxe twice a week. So for time-starved mums, this is the perfect product.
The next thing we liked about the product is that it actually works! After just a few uses, skin feels smoother, firmer and more radiant. The dullness (that is a common skin problem for tired mums) disappears.
The handheld and rechargeable device works by combining 660 nm red light with sonic vibration and gentle warming. This technology works to boost overall cellular energy, increasing the production of collagen and elastin and increasing microcirculation, which in turn have an anti-ageing effect on the skin.
The device can be used on delicate areas of the face, such as around the eyes and mouth, for three minutes at a time. For a full facial experience glide the TANDA Luxe over the face for approximately 12 minutes. This treatment is also wonderful to use at night, before applying products like moisturisers, as creams can be absorbed more effectively.
TANDA Luxe is priced at £199.99 but this provides 6000 x 3 minute treatments, and gives much quicker and more noticeable results than most creams can provide.
