There hasn’t been a decent pirate movie in almost 10 years (the first Pirates of the Caribbean was brilliant…the other three, not so much) so when we heard that Hugh Grant (who we have also missing terribly from the big screen) would be starring in an animated pirate movie, we were very excited!
The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists stars Hugh Grant in his first animated role as the enthusiastic, yet less-than-successful, terror of the High Seas. The Captain and his crew set out on a mission to defeat his bitter rivals Black Bellamy (Jeremy Piven) and Cutlass Liz (Salma Hayek) for the Pirate of the Year Award. This adventure takes the Captain from the shores of Blood Island to the streets of Victorian London.
The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientist will hit cinemas on March 28th.
