Kids are never quiet for no reason, and generally speaking, when they are, they're up to  mischief.

But these children were up to the best kind of mischief.

Jennifer Lai thought it was just a typical day at school when her boyfriend of three years, Sam Nalbandia, managed to pull off an epic proposal in front of her Global Education Academy class.

When Jessica was in another room, her colleagues and sister snuck into her classroom to let her students in on the big surprise.

Jessica returned and straight away noticed that her kids were being unusually quiet.

But pretty soon, her principal ushered her to take a seat to watch a special movie with the kids.

The movie was a kid-friendly reenactment of their love story from the very first time they met, and when it was over, the kids got up and held up letters that spelled out 'will you marry me?'

"I was in complete shock and it's usually really hard to surprise me," Lai said.

That's when Sam walked in with a bouquet of flowers and got down on one knee.

Lai was completely stunned, but said yes without hesitation.

"We spoke about getting married, but I never imagined it would happen at work," Lai said.

"I'm so happy it did though because my students were able to share the moment with me and Sam knows how important my students are to me."

The kids topped off a great day by handing Lai some beautiful, hand-made cards to congratulate her on the unforgettable moment they got to be a part of.

Aww...

SHARE if you think this is one of the most thoughtful proposals ever.
