Naww, we have fallen madly in love with these adorable little girls!

Aussie sisters Maddy, 6, and Briella, 2, both have a condition called diastrophic dysplasia, a rare form of dwarfism – but that hasn’t quenched their indomitable spirit.

And although they face many difficult challenges as a result of their condition, the pair are cheerful, positive and downright sparky.

In an absolutely charming interview with Christopher Ulmer from Special Books by Special Kids, the sisters, along with big sis Lane, share why nothing will hold them back from their dreams.

Like when Maddy is talking about the things they can’t do because of their conditions she says, “Like, we can’t stand on our heads without holding onto the wall.”

Or when she’s asked what makes her special, she cites her superior hide and seek skills.

What a badass!

And when Christopher asks Maddy what she wants to be when she gets older, she fires back straight away: “I want to be a teacher and a mommy.” Why a teacher? Well so she can “boss people around” of course.

The whole interview is absolutely precious. We are so inspired by the spirit of these girls and we have a feeling you will be too.

Special Books by Special Kids is an organisation set up by special education teacher Chris Ullman, which seeks to “normalise the diversity of the human condition”. Chris now travels the world making short videos with “neurodiverse humans” to show that “through love and acceptance all people are connected”.
