How we wish we'd gone to Prairie Mountain School in Eugene, Oregon!

Every year, students and teachers at the school gather together for their annual duck walk, chanting encouragement as a duck clan makes its way through the halls.

There is a reason for it, though.

Each year, the mother duck lays her eggs in the school's courtyard - which is boxed in by the school with no way out.

So the ducks must begin their journey through the school to the nearby wetland, where they'll be able to live their happy duck lives in peace.

However, the little waddlers haven't quite nailed their navigation skills just yet, so a dedicated teacher steers them along the right path through the school's corridors, by the playground, and out to freedom.

And the kids absolutely love it. Below, you can watch them cheering the family on as they waddle their way to their destination.
