Getting pregnant following a miscarriage can be a very scary thing to endure, as mums cannot help but worry for their unborn baby.
Photographer Alex Bolen recently shot six gorgeous mums, who had previously suffered miscarriages.
The photograph shows these amazing women, who are either pregnant or holding their little one, in colourful dresses to resemble a rainbow.
Alex posted the amazing picture to her Facebook page, with a very moving caption:
"A rainbow baby is a baby born following loss. These mommas are just 6 out of the millions that experience pregnancy/infant loss every day."
She continued saying "some speak out. Some stay silent. Some have lost many. Some try for months or years. Some meet their sleeping angels. All loved and never forgotten."
The post has since been shared more than 17,000 times, and has gained viral status for its raw beauty.
This photo represents the amazing strength of all mothers out there who have had to deal with the loss of a baby.
