The 42-year-old Today show anchor, shared the photo of herself with beautiful new baby girl, Vale, and her husband, Michael.
Savannah, who is used to looking preened and groomed as part of her job, shared the photo of herself make-up free and looking overjoyed with her brand new arrival.
The new mum also announced the news on her Twitter account, writing to her followers: “My 3am wake up call sounds a lot different now. Sweeter...”
Savannah also spoke of her delight at getting to show off Vale on the Today show, when her photo was shared on air: “Every new parent must want to shout their happy news to the world. So lucky we got to do it on @Todayshow! We are bursting with joy. #Vale.”
Baby Vale was born weighing 8lbs 5oz and according to her proud mum she has "blue eyes, a little bit of blondish hair and the chubbiest cheeks you’ve ever seen.”
Savannah and Michael were married in March of this year.
