Children have a habit of saying things you're just not meant to say. And this kid is no different.
Recently, the youngster was (apparently) asked by their teacher to answer this question: ‘Would you rather be stuck on an island all alone or with one person you hate? Why?’
The child decided they’d rather have someone with them regardless, but not for the reasons you might think.
No, they weren’t thinking that it would be less scary than being alone. Nor were they thinking of the insanity that would inevitably result from having nobody to talk to.
No, no. Their reasoning was much, much darker. They wrote: “I would rather be on an island with someone I hate so I have something to eat.”
